Vianney Halter launches the Antiqua Ocean

14 Years after presenting his Antiqua, Vianney Halter offers you to explore the Silent World. As a big fan of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Halter turns his precious perpetual calendar watch into a stainless steel tool watch, purposely made for scuba diving, the Antiqua Ocean.

Like on the Antiqua of the early days, the various functions are dispatched on several portholes. The time is in the upper right porthole, while the date is just underneath.

Another set of hands gives the dive duration in the lower left dial, while the upper left porthole houses an accurate depth gauge. The Antiqua Ocean is 300 m deep waterproof. It is tight on the diver’s wrist by means of a hand sewed rubber strap and a stainless steel ardillon buckle. Hands are Super Luminova coated for improved legibility, even in muddy water.

Captain Nemo could have worn the Antiqua Perpetual Calendar when steering the Nautilus. No doubt captain Cousteau would have worn the Antiqua Ocean when visiting Jojo-the-grouperfish.

More info and pictures to come! You can read the press release on Vianney Halter’s website.

To honor such a great April Fools joke, the Weekly Watch Photo of this week will be dedicated to Vianney Halter. Chapeau!
