I just traded my Maurice Laroix Masterpiece Phase de Lune Tonneau for a Rolex. No bad trade if i may say so. The Rolex GMT Master 16753 is a steel-gold model, also called two-tone because of the two colors of metal.
Although i’m pretty happy with the trade i’m curious if i really like the steel-gold and if it will get wrist time. This particular model is also called ‘Tigerauge’ (translated Tiger’s eye) because of the brown dial. It comes on a two-tone jubilee bracelet.

Nice one – got the same. But isn’t it a ref 1675?
@Klingenberg… I trade it in on a Sea-Dweller, but that one is gone as well. It was a great watch, but somehow steel/gold didn’t get much wrist time.
Rolex ref. 1675 is a stainless steel version that was made from the late 1960′s to the late 1970′s when it was replaced by ref. 16750.
Ref. 16753 is the steel/gold version of ref. 16750.
