Hamilton Kakhi Navi GMT 3T

OK… sometimes thing go really fast. Again a new watch, the Hamilton Kakhi Navi GMT 3-Timer.

The Fortis Flieger Uhr PVD was on my wrist for a few minutes and it was already traded for something else. This Hamilton Kakhi Navi GMT 3-Timer was offered me in trade for the Fortis and i couldn’t resist…

I think it’s a nice and very affordable watch. It looks like Haliton’s designers where inspired by Jaeger LeCoultre’s Master Compressor series. Inside ticks an ETA 2893 power source and the watch is water resistant to 200 meters.

Now let’s see how long this one will stay… I do hope a bit longer than the Fortis Flieger ;)

Oh before i forget… the YELLOW strap is kind of loud, so that will be changed as soon as the watch arrives!

Fortis Flieger… a quicky

Tags:

And just because waiting for the Lusina Super Compressor that has to come all the way from the USA, takes so long I bought a Fortis Flieger. This version is PVD treated and actually my first watch with a black case.

Vintage Super Compressor

Tags: ,

Most of my watches are fairly new. However sometimes I come across an old watch that just shouts my name…

I just bought this oldie… It’s a Lusina Super Compressor from 1962. It’s design is a typical design of vintage super compressor watches. Jaeger LeCoultre and several other brands had such watches in their collection in the 1960′s.

Now it’s waiting for the mail man…

TAG Heuer Autavia Re-issue

Tags:

A few weeks ago i bought the new re-issue TAG Heuer Autavia. This loveley watch is a re-issue of one of the firstautomatic chronographs and i think a very well designed successor. Even the so unique crown on the left side, which was used on all caliber 11 automatic chronographs, comes back in this watch. The look and feel are absolutely 70′s but on the other hands it’s a modern sportswartch with an automatic chronograph of excellent quality.

TAG Heuer Autavia re-issue

Even before this Autavia arrived i fell in love with another watch, so the decission was made to sell it again to fund another watch. Now the Autavia is gone i must say this is probably one of the watch i sold that i mis most. The quality, the finish, the looks and the comfortable bracelet where all so good… much better than i expected. I hope to be able to buy one of these again!
